Alice Ireland Ducat

Alice Ireland Ducat, four month old daughter of John & Heather Ducat, passed away peacefully in her parents’ loving arms on October 1, 2011 in Atlanta, GA. She is survived by her adoring sister Mary Ducat of Atlanta, GA; maternal grandparents Reid & Margaret McCarter of Greer, SC; paternal grandparents Katherine Larracey of Grafton, MA, and John S. Ducat, Jr. of Hudson, MA; paternal great grandparents John S. & Elinor Ducat, Sr. of Alexandria Bay, NY, Willis J. Larracey, Jr. of Natick, MA, and Joyce Hokans of Shrewsbury, MA; aunts and uncles Patrick & Amy McCarter of Charlotte, NC, and Meaghan & Jason Diaz of Wethersfield, CT; and cousins Adelaide, Grady, Mabel, Lucia, and Lyla. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Atlanta, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alice Ireland Ducat Memorial Fund held by the Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia (6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Suite 220, Duluth, GA 30097; www.cfneg.org), which will serve to create a charitable memorial project in Alice’s honor.
