Mrs. Betty Jean Batten Clough of Sandy Springs died January 11, 2012. She was born in Coffee County on October 14, 1935, the daughter of Samuel and Beadie Carver Batten. She is survived by her husband of 56½ years, Allen F. Clough, daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Jim McGraw of Newnan, GA, son and daughter-in-law Dwayne and Beth Clough of Sharpsburg, GA , son David Clough of Florida; grandchildren, Debra (and Jeff) King, Dixie Clough, Joshua McGraw, Sean McGraw, Matthew McGraw and Adam Clough; sister-in-law Vinnie Batten of Douglas, GA, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carl and Becky Clough of Homer, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many close personal friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Sandy Springs Chapel. . Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service.
