

Beverly Jean Okarma Cullom, 68, of Marietta, Georgia, died October 18th, 2011, at home surrounded by family and friends. The cause was angiosarcoma and you can read about her journey here www.mylifeline.org/cullom. Mrs. Cullom was born July 12, 1943, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Alton and Agnes (Sanders) Okarma. She attended Sandy Springs High School in Atlanta, GA (class of 1961) and worked for 26 years at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA as department secretary for Rehab Services. She enjoyed living life to the fullest whether it be vacationing in Cozumel or Ormond Beach, being on the lake, doing crossword puzzles or simply spending time with her family. She devoted much of her time as a caregiver to her husband. Beverly will be especially remembered for her generous spirit, warm smile and friendly nature. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, James Cullom; her daughter Denise Cullom Bubniak, son in law Eric Bubniak, and grandson Blake of Gainesville, GA; several nieces and nephews; and special friends from Northside Hospital. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Gunter. The viewing will be Tuesday from 10AM-12PM with the service to follow, October 25th, at Sandy Springs Chapel Funeral Home.
