Mrs. Bonnie Dolson Peet, a beloved member of our community, passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 80. Bonnie was known for her vibrant spirit, quick wit and her unwavering dedication to God, family, friends, and her many passions.
An avid bridge player and golfer, Bonnie spent countless hours enjoying the company of her friends on the golf course and at the card table. Her love for competition was matched only by her generous spirit, as she often volunteered her time at Roswell Presbyterian Church, serving as a Sunday School teacher and a Stephen’s Minister, where she provided support and comfort to those in need.
Bonnie proudly attended Oglethorpe University, where she fostered friendships and cherished memories. She was also a devoted dog lover, with a special affection for Golden Retrievers, finding joy and companionship in their playful antics.
Bonnie's legacy of kindness, laughter, and dedication to her community will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Paul William Peet, her siblings; Richard Rhay Dolson, and Debra Dolson Rohrer, and many Nieces and Nephews who loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Charles H. Dolson, father, and Mrs. Bonnie G. Dolson, mother and her brothers Charles Dolson and William Dolson.
A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roswell Presbyterian Church or the Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta in Bonnie's honor.
