Born in Atlanta on October 26, 1958, she graduated from Ridgeview High and Georgia State. An artist and poet, she was preceded in death by her parents Hugh Saussy, Jr. and Florence (Bunny) Griffin Saussy.
She is survived by her brother Stephen Saussy (Pam), sisters Lynn Saussy (Henry Read) and Lucy Saussy Hannon (Tim), niece Madeline Edwards, nephews Steve Saussy (Kate), Jared Saussy (Caity Cogdell), and Luke Hannon, great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Carol will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
