Cheng Yen Sun Wong

Mrs. Cheng Yen Sun Wong passed away on May 10, 2014 after an eight month battle with ovarian cancer, surrounded by family and friends. Mrs. Wong is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Kinka Wong, a large extended family and many dear friends.

In 1989 Mrs. Wong and husband moved to Atlanta where Mr. Wong began his career as an architect and in 1994 Mrs. Wong opened her store, SoHo, a specialty gift store at the Galleria Mall. Mrs. Wong ran SoHo successfully for 20 years until her illness dictated otherwise at which time she enlisted the help of dear friends to help keep the store open in its current location at The Forum in Norcross. She put her heart and soul into SoHo, making it a place where people returned time after time. She had a knack for making people feel welcomed and special, developing a loyal following of customers, many of whom became friends.

A service for family and friends will be held 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs.
