

Donald (Don) Lemuel Densmore passed away to be with his Lord and Savior and beloved wife on January 2nd. His final days were spent surrounded with both family and friends that he touched throughout his memorable life in his hometown, Atlanta, Georgia. Don was born on August 7, 1937 to William Glover Densmore and Ruby Nichols Cole. He was a graduate of O’Keefe High School in Atlanta. Don owned and operated several gas stations and convenience stores over a 45-year period, leasing his first station at 19 years old and newly married. Christian. Husband. Father. Entrepreneur. Provider. Entertainer and Musician. Golfer. Sportsman. Cook. Card Shark. Jokester. He loved his Lord, his family, his friends, his employees and making a deal. He genuinely loved life. Don was recently preceded in death by his wife Linda, of 54 years. Don is survived by his five children, Tanya Christensen, Tamara Densmore, Tori and Ken Yearta, Tara and Brad Smith, and Don Jr. and Katie Densmore and his grandchildren, Charles, Cassidy, Cameron, Callie, Cailyn, Caleb, Whitley, and Hattie. Visitation and Memorial Services will be held at Sandy Springs Chapel in Sandy Springs, Georgia with visitation on Friday, January 6, from 5 to 8 pm and funeral services on Saturday, January 7, at 1 pm.
