James Foster Magee

While serving in the US Army, he attended Rutgers University and LSU, and was stationed in Alaska. He completed his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering at Southern Methodist University. He married Glenna Gregory on November 29, 1953 in Gainesville, Texas. He started his career with Halliburton Oil, but spent the bulk of it as a sales executive with IBM. Surviving family members include his wife Glenna Gregory Magee; daughters Robin Magee Weidener, Diane Magee and Lisa Magee Marlow (son-in-law Bill Marlow); grandchildren James Gregory Stevens (wife Caroline McCormick Stevens), Natalie Michelle Marlow and Ryan Robert Marlow. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, the family suggests a contribution to the children’s charity of your choice.
