

He was a graduate of Berry College in Rome, GA and was an owner of a building supply company in his professional career. He was an avid motorcycle rider who loved his family and friends, and was a great PawPaw to his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents Hugh & Gertrude Sentell of Sandy Springs, and his granddaughter Ava Sentell.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Sentell, son & daughter, Casey Sentell (Stephanie) & Theresa MacPherson (Mat), and nine grandchildren. (Trevor, Payton, Ella Katherine, Dylan, Mia, Matthew, Luke, Sierra, & Cody) Also survived by his sister Faye Fields, niece (Angie) and nephew (Skip), and close cousin Melvin Hardeman.
A Graveside Service will be held on May 22, 2021 at 12 noon in Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mt. Vernon Hwy. NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. A Celebration of Life will follow at Lost Corner Preserve, 7300 Brandon Mill Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 In Lieu of any flowers, we ask that a donation is made to CURE Childhood Cancer https://donate.curechildhoodcancer.org/ notating Rod Sentell.
