Jane Catherine Iredale

Jane had a long, joyous life of 97 years. She was the last survivor of her immediate family which included her parents, her brother and two sisters. She is survived by two sons; Michael and William, two grandsons; Jim and Brent, and one granddaughter, Jennifer. She had eight great grandchildren; Matthew, Joseph, Thomas, Jack, Samuel, Sara Catherine, Tilly Jane and Leona.

She married William James Iredale, Jr. in 1945 following his discharge from the 8th Army Air Force. They enjoyed 49 years of marriage until his death in 1995. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed golf well into her eighties. She served her community and her family by volunteering at Emory Hospital Gift shop.

She was Chaplain to Emory Hospital Board of Directors as well as Secretary of the Atlanta chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 1pm at Sandy Springs Chapel followed by a Committal service at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make donations payable to the American Parkinson Disease Association or Emory Hospital.
