Margie Kinard Clark, 90 years of age and a long-time resident of Sandy Springs, GA, left this earth on Saturday, March 23, 2013. She joins her husband, Howard Wood Clark, who passed away in 1994. She is survived by her sons Robert and John; grandchildren Sarah, Caryn, Jason, Taylor and Dana; and three great grandchildren Stella, Leo and Justin. A lifelong writer and educator, Margie authored several religious texts and Sunday School literature resources for young children of the Southern Baptist Convention. She delighted in spreading the Word of God to the next generation. She was also a member of the National League of American Pen Women. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 4 pm at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt Vernon Hwy. A visitation and viewing for family and friends will be held at the same location Thursday, March 28, from 7 to 9 pm.
