Matthew blessed us on December 6th, 1978 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA, to Michael and Victoria Austin. He attended Walton High School, Simpson Middle School, and Tritt Elementary School. Matthew had a real talent for working with his hands. He enjoyed working on home projects and made his career in the home improvement industry. Matthew had a heart of gold and cherished spending time with his family and pets. One of his favorite past times was spending time with his nephew and niece. He is survived by his father, Mike; his mother Vickie; his sister Victoria; brothers Michael and Jonathan; nephew Christian, and niece Alexandra. Family, friends, and others whose lives Matthew touched are invited to attend the Funeral at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 1st, 2019, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat.
