The family of Dikembe Mutombo is saddened to announce the death of their father, Samuel Mutombo who passed away on Tuesday, the 18th of June, 2013. A wake will be held on Friday the 21st of June from seven until nine o’clock at Sandy Springs Chapel Funeral Directors, 136 Mt. Vernon Highway, NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, 404-251-8511. Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Mutombo will be held Saturday, the 22nd of June at one o’clock at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 850 Mt. Vernon Highway, NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30327. Mr. Mutombo will be taken back to the Democratic Republic of Congo for burial.
