

Wilma Marie Biederman Sollenberger, 87, of Calhoun, Georgia, died from an extended illness on February 19, 2014, at Morning Pointe Assisted Living, her place of residence. She was born on October 5, 1926 in Portland, Oregon to Wilbur and Coral Biederman. Wilma has lived in the Atlanta area from 1969- 2011, when she moved to Morning Pointe Assisted Living in Calhoun, Ga. Wilma was a member of the Dunwoody United Methodist Church and the PEO Sorority, Chapter R along with service groups and organizations through her life. She was preceded in death by her sister, Harriet Biederman Helton, her twin brother Wilbur Biederman Jr., parents, Wilbur and Coral Biederman, son, Steven Scott Sollenberger, and her husband, Wilfred Ray Sollenberger. Wilma is survived by her children, Adeline Sollenberger Perry, and her husband Mark, of Calhoun Ga., Craig Sollenberger, and his wife Terry, of Woodstock, Ga., and Neil Sollenberger, and his wife Becky of Mauldin, South Carolina, her brother, Arthur Biederman and his wife Lynne of Glenn Eden, Oregon, her sister Carolyn Biederman Saxe, of Portland, Oregon, her grandchildren, Amy S. Barton and husband Stuart, Adam Sollenberger, Andrew Sollenberger and wife Gwen, Leah M. Perry, Laura P. Byrd and husband Arlen, and Katie J. Sollenberger, along with many nieces and nephews and great grandchildren. Memorial Services for Wilma Marie Sollenberger will be on Saturday, March 1 at Dunwoody United Methodist Church Chapel in Dunwoody, Georgia. Visitation will be at 10:00am and the service to follow at 11:00.
