Esperanza Mendoza

Esperanza Mendoza, lovingly known for her strength, grace, and unwavering devotion to family, was born on March 10, 1936, and peacefully passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 89. A longtime resident of Santa Ana, California, Esperanza lived a life rooted in love, faith, and quiet resilience. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, perseverance, and cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Esperanza’s life during a visitation to be held at Family Mortuary, 1201 North Main Street, Santa Ana, California, on January 12, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This time will offer an opportunity for reflection, prayer, and sharing stories of a life so deeply treasured.

A funeral service celebrating the beautiful life of Esperanza will be held on January 13, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., at Our Lady of La Vang Church, located at 288 South Harbor Boulevard, Santa Ana, California. Surrounded by family and friends who loved her dearly, we will gather in prayer to give thanks for her life and to commend her soul to eternal peace.

Esperanza’s ashes will be taken to Panteón Comunitario Agua Caliente La Palma in Michoacan, Mexico, where she will be laid to rest with dignity and love.

Esperanza will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the boundless love she shared and the gentle light she brought into the lives of all who were blessed to know her.
