Aurora Garcia Cervantes

Aurora Garcia Cervantes, 89, entered into the presence of our lord and savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday December 20, 2016. She joined her husband in heaven Juan Francisco Cervantes. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2006. They were married for 59 blissful years.

She was born on August 17, 1927 in Los Alamos Coahuila Mexico the daughter of Audenago Garcia and Adelida Lozano. Aurora her husband & family arrived in Santa Paula California on January 6, 1971. It became their hometown.

Aurora was a person truly appreciated by friends & loved by all her family. She is survived by her sons & daughters Rosa Elva Delgado, Paula & husband Pablo Luna, Juan Francisco Jr. & wife Adelina Cervantes, Rogelio & wife Priscilla Cervantes, Jose Alfredo & wife Christina Cervantes, Josefina & Husband Sergio Hernandez, Maria De Lourdes & husband Sam Garcia, Olga Leticia & husband Jose Garcia, Arturo & wife Patricia Cervantes, Jose Alvaro Cervantes, & her daughter Martha Elena Cervantes & younger sister Encarnacion G. Salas. Aurora was blessed with 39 grandchildren, 62 greatgrandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren.

Aurora truly appreciated her family. Her family was always first before her personal needs. Our best memories of our momma was her comidas, carne con chile & her flour tortillas which were home made & were cooked twice a day! Her bunuelos during Christmas time & Capirotada. She loved ranchera music & was always the first one on the dance floor. Her peace sign in pictures was her way of telling us “hey I’m still here” her grandkids called her grandma fresh. Because she was the coolest grandma! Aurora was a women of few words but when she spoke she would tell it like it is “unfiltered”. Our mom will be missed, she will always be loved & remembered, & can never be imitated we will follow her steps & one day just like her we will stand in the presence of the all mighty God.
