

Julie Torres, 61, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 2, 2025, at her home in Ventura, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the devoted wife of Eva Moreno, a partnership that stood as a shining example of enduring love, mutual respect, and deep compassion.
Julie lived her life with quiet strength and an open heart. Known for her infectious laugh and thoughtful nature, she was a steadfast source of support and comfort to all who knew her. Her warmth and kindness touched countless lives, whether through shared stories, a helping hand, or moments of simple, quiet companionship. Every interaction with Julie was filled with meaning, leaving an imprint of grace and love.
Julie was born to the late Jose Torres and Consuelo Torres. She was predeceased by her brother, Jose Torres. Julie is also survived by her beloved wife, Eva Moreno; her mother, Consuelo Torres; and her siblings Mayte Martinez Lugo, Rita Montejano, Ruben Torres, Arturo Torres, Reynaldo Torres, Ricardo Torres, Rodolfo Torres, and Robert Torres. Together with Eva, Julie built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams.
She found joy in the simple pleasures: gathering loved ones around the table, nurturing friendships, and creating a home where everyone felt welcome. Her presence was a grounding force, and her love was boundless.
