Maria del Rosario Rosales

Tras tres años de luto por la pérdida de su amado esposo, nuestra madre se ha unido a nuestro padre en la dicha espiritual por la eternidad. Aunque nos duele el corazón por su pérdida, nos fortalecemos mutuamente para anunciarles que nuestra querida madre, María del Rosario Rosales, falleció en la mañana del Domingo 23 de Noviembre de 2025. Sus seis hijos: Pedro Alejandro, Gabriela Teresa, Sergio Eduardo, Ana Marcela, Claudia y Carlos Alberto, la acompañaron hasta su último aliento a las 6:16 a. m., al igual que sus nietos. Le sobreviven sus dieciséis nietos, así como dos bisnietos a los que dio la bienvenida este año.

Nuestra madre nació el 30 de Junio de 1946 en Ocotlán, Jalisco. Era la mayor de los cuatro hijos sobrevivientes de sus padres, Honorato y Teresa. Ambos fallecieron antes que ella, al igual que su hermano menor. Sus dos hermanos menores nos acompañan en el duelo por su pérdida.

Desde muy pequeña, nuestra madre adoptó el espíritu de cuidadora. Ayudó diligentemente a criar a sus hermanos menores, a la vez que participaba activamente en los grupos de su Iglesia. Católica devota, nuestra madre llevó su diligencia y fe a la maternidad tras dar la bienvenida a su primer hijo en 1967. En seis años, nos convertimos en una familia de ocho, disfrutando de los viajes familiares al mercado, donde nos consintió a cada uno con nuestros dulces favoritos. Esos eran los momentos en que nuestra madre parecía más feliz; tener a todos sus hijos y a su esposo disfrutando del día en nuestra patria.

Tras mudarnos a Estados Unidos en 1983, Fillmore, California, fue nuestro nuevo hogar, donde la fe de nuestra madre se profundizó. Al asistir a la iglesia de San Francisco de Asís, nuestra madre se llenaba de orgullo al ver a toda su familia llenar un banco entero de su nueva parroquia. Poco después, los seis formamos nuestras propias familias y nuestra madre se convirtió en abuelita de dieciséis nietos. Su familia ahora llenaba su hogar de nueva vida, y dedicó toda su vida a crear nuevos recuerdos como abuelita.

After three years of mourning the loss of her beloved husband, our mother has joined our father in spiritual bliss for eternity. Though our hearts break in our collective loss, we find strength in each other to announce the loss of our mother Maria del Rosario Rosales on Sunday morning November 23, 2025. Her six children: Pedro Alejandro, Gabriela Teresa, Sergio Eduardo, Ana Marcela, Claudia, and Carlos Alberto were by her side until her last breath at 6:16am, as well as her grandchildren. She is survived by all sixteen of them, as well as two great-grandchildren she welcomed this year.

Our mother was born, on the thirtieth of June in 1946, in Ocotlan Jalisco. She was the oldest of four surviving children to her parents Honorato and Teresa. They both precede her in death, as well as her youngest brother. Her two younger siblings join us in the mourning of her loss.

From a very young age, our mother adopted the soul of a caregiver. She diligently helped raise her younger siblings, while maintaining an active involvement in her church groups. A devout Catholic, our mother carried her diligence and faith into motherhood after welcoming her first son in 1967. Within six years, we grew into a family of eight, enjoying family trips to the mercado where she would indulge each of us in our most favorite treats. Those were the times when our mother seemed her happiest; having all her children and her husband enjoy the day in our mother country.

After moving to the United States in 1983, we called Fillmore, CA our new home, where our mother’s faith only grew deeper. Upon attending St. Francis of Assisi church, our mother swelled with pride as her entire family filled an entire pew of their new parish. Soon after, the six of us grew our own families and our mother became a grandmother to sixteen grandchildren. Her family was now filling her home with new life, and her entire life was devoted to creating new memories as a grandmother.
