Carol Jeanette "Polly" Miller

Carol Jeanette "Polly" Miller passed away Saturday October 15, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mother and father - Jacob Aubrey Collins and Rosa Lee Collins. She was married to Thomas Alvin Miller for 43 years. She is survived by her sister Mary Louise "Wease" Halcombe, her son Kenneth Dale Miller (Kim), her daughter Nancy Gayle Eddins (Liston) her seven grandchildren Josh Bonds, Jessica McIlwain, Amy Miller, Jake Miller, Blake Eddins, Bret Eddins and Bart Eddins as well as her 16 great-grandchildren.

Polly cherished working at Eight Mile School for many years and in many different positions. She was a devoted wife, mother and home maker. The joy of her life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Myers Memorial Baptist Church. She was an avid artist that enjoyed her painting and growing her flowers.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery in Citronelle. Donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice Foundation or the charity of your choice.
