He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Busby, Sr.; mother, Gladys Greene Busby; his son, Bradley Ray Busby; and three sisters, Katherine Lloyd, Barbara Perkins, and Shirley Haney.
He is survived by his son, Cody Busby; three sisters, Janet Turner Goldman, Peggy Busby, and Frieda Willard; plus many nieces, nephews and other family members that adored him deeply.
A visitation for friends will be held at Radney Funeral Home, located at 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, Alabama, 36571, on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a family visitation being held from 5 to 6pm.
A graveside service will take place at Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama, 36605, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 10:00 am.
Cecil will be loved and missed by everyone that knew him.
Pallbearers will be: J.R. Watson, Scott Presley, Gary Spain, Mike Woodson, Greg Arrington, and Kenny Arrington. Honorary pallbearer will be Cully Palmer.
