Charles Paul Edmonds Jr.

Charles Paul Edmonds, Jr. – a 91 year-old native of New Orleans, LA and longtime resident of Chickasaw and Turnerville, AL passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012. Mr. Edmonds was a life-long boilermaker and was a member of the Boilermaker’s Union Local 112. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Paul Edmonds, Sr. and Elise Rault Edmonds; his loving wife of 69 years, Margaret Edmonds; two children, Lucian Edmonds and Dale Edmonds; and one grandson, John Edmonds. He is survived by his children, Charles (Lily) Edmonds, III, Margaret (Billy) Tanner, Walter (Debbie) Edmonds, Ann (Emanuel) Cook, Richard (Debbie) Edmonds, Steve (Linda) Edmonds, Ted Lee (Rhonda) Edmonds, David Edmonds, Gary (Debbie) Edmonds, Paul (Tiffany) Edmonds, and Kent (Marsha) Edmonds; brother, Garcia (Kathryn) Edmonds; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Crowne Nursing Home and Southern Care Hospice for providing excellent care to their father. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Monday, October 29, 2012, at 10 a.m. with Glen Vaughn, Tom Dees, and Brandon Rodgers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 28, from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ronald Tanner, Donald Tanner, Jason Edmonds, Brian Edmonds, Ben Edmonds, Clint Edmonds, Matthew Edmonds, and Michel Edmonds with Doug Edmonds and Tyler Edmonds serving as honorary pallbearers.
