Charles Edward Williamson

Blue was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked at Scott Paper Company as a Site and Equipment Manager in Wood Yard Maintenance for 37 years until his retirement. Blue was a quiet, simple man, but he loved his family and made sure they were always taken care of. And he also loved watching the Crimson Tide play…Roll Tide!

Blue is preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Gorum Williamson; his grandson, Justin Beasley; his father and mother-in-law, Grady and Pauline Gorum; and brother-in-law, Malcolm Thomas.

He is survived by his children, Kruggie Williamson (Susan), Loni Washam (Jim), Russell Beasley (Kim), Keith Beasley (Patricia) and Chris Langley (Anna); his grandchildren, Caleb Williamson (Holly) Joshua Williamson, Lauren Morris (Thomas), Travis Beasley (Morgan), Erika Dossett (Trent), Shana Mosley (Seth), Farren Darnell (Justin), Taylor Allen (Quintarez Diamond), Marcus Casey (Juliette Lewis) and Nicholas Casey; great-grandchildren, Liam, Anslee and Luke Dossett, Merritt and Meredith Mosley, Forest and Brody Beasley, Case Beasley and Barrett Reynolds, Gus and Lily Morris, Heidi Williamson, Amari and Avery Diamond and Daphne Darnell; and sisters-in-law, Opal Summersgill (Don) and Katherine Thomas.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 10AM at Valhalla Memorial Gardens, 8730 Sims Road, Eight Mile, AL 36613.
