Clyde Lawson Evans

Clyde Lawson Evans was born in Brewton, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his father, William Lawson Evans; mother, Margaret Naomi Gibbons Evans Nugent and his sister Sylvia Diane Evans Harris. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Joyce Isham Evans; daughter, Mary Jennifer Ballard, son in law, Dewayne Russell Ballard Sr.; granddaughter, Camille Margaret Ballard and grandson, Dewayne Russell Ballard II and extended family. He will be missed by his dog, Rebel and many friends. Clyde was retired from the Boilermakers Local 112. He was a Certified Welding Inspector and QC & QA. He was very proud of his trade. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corps. He loved hunting, fishing, shooting pool and Alabama Football. Clyde was a member of H.E. Blackwell Masonic Lodge. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Interment will be in Creola Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Williams, Gaston Lee, G.B. Tarleton, Kenny Middleton, and all retired friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. David Clarkson, RoseAnn Wells, Dr. Noah Whetstone, Dr. Ozgar Oztas, Dr. Carole Norden, Dr. George Eyrich, and everyone at the Mitchell Cancer Institute.
