Clydie Irene Roberts – was born November 8, 1923 and passed away at the age of 88, on August 28, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Roberts. They were married 56 years. She was a native of Clarke County and a resident of Saraland for many years. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church until her health started failing her. She is survived by her son, Gary (Ann) Roberts; daughter, Linda (John) Brunson; step-daughter, Evelyn (Marshall) Fillingim; sister, Janie (Smoky) Roberts; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 9 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
