Colonel P. Weaver, III, age 53 resident of Creola, AL lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Colonel P. Weaver, Jr. and brother Timothy Weaver, Sr. .
Colonel served his country honorably as a helicopter mechanic in the U. S. Army. He served in both the Gulf War and Bosnian Conflict. He was a jack of all trades and master of none or at least that's what he would say. He loved his family, fishing and Alabama football.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Tracy York Weaver and three children; Colonel P. Weaver IV, Michala Weaver, Morgan Weaver, extended children, Timothy Weaver and Kayla Keen. He is also survived by his mother, Jeanna Weaver, sister Debra Weaver and eight grandchildren. Other nieces, nephews, family and many friends also survive him. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL beginning at 12:30 p.m. with military honors.
