David Bruce Edmonds Sr.

David Bruce Edmonds, Sr. - A loving father, grandfather, and brother, a 67 year-old native and resident of Chickasaw, Alabama passed away at his home on Friday, October 27, 2023. He was a retired boilermaker and member of the Union Local 112.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margaret Edmonds, and two brothers, Dale Edmonds and Lucian Edmonds. He is survived by his daughter, Serena Kay Wheatley (Bobbie); son, David Bruce Edmonds, Jr. (Tracy); seven grandchildren, Meagan Edmonds, Katelynn Wheatley, Morgan Edmonds, Jacob Wheatley, Mason Edmonds, Kaylee Wheatley, and Maelee Edmonds; ten siblings, Dr. Charles Edmonds, III (Lily), Margaret Tanner (Billy), Walter Edmonds (Debbie), Ann Cook (Emanuel), Richard Edmonds (Debbie), Steve Edmonds (Linda), Ted Lee Edmonds (Rhonda), Gary Edmonds, Paul Edmonds (Tiffany), and Kent Edmonds (Marsha); longtime companion, Raven Brewer and her daughter, Leona Jones; other relatives and friends.

Mr. Edmonds' happiest moments in life were time spent with and around his family, which meant more than anything else. He had a genuine love for people and never met a stranger.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
