Doris Priscilla Odom

Doris Priscilla Odom, age 77, passed away on January 27, 2021. Doris was born in Mobile, Alabama to the late Perry Eugene and Mary Hardy Frye. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to find an opportunity for a social gathering, especially at Thanksgiving to share her dressing.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Bill” S. Odom, Sr.; a son, Jerry Eugene Bingham, Jr.; grandsons, Joshua J. Bingham and Jacob Bingham; sisters, Polly Lose and Mary Jean Shaneyfelt; brothers, Henry Frye, Johnny Frye and Jimmy Frye.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Bingham Howard; sons, Bobby (Nancy) Bingham and Edward (Jennifer) Strachan; step-children, William “Billy” (Cindy) Odom, Jr., Sherry Odom, Ronnie Odom and Greg Odom; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a brother, Eugene Perry Frye and sisters, Edna (Ronnie) Sterling, Evelyn (Jerald) Gibson, Brenda (David) Hancock and Kathy (Earl) Smith; special nieces, Christie Sterling White and Amie Sterling Domingue, also, survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Gulf Crest Cemetery, Chunchula, Alabama.
