Dot Chancey Johnson

Dot Chancey Johnson - a native of Coffeeville, Alabama and a lifelong resident of Creola, Alabama passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 92. She was the owner and operator of Northside Bait and Tackle in Satsuma, Alabama for 46 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, JC Johnson. Mrs. Johnson is survived by three sons (Stan Johnson (Michelle), Terry Johnson (Gayle Grabert), and Spencer Johnson (Cindy); one daughter, Puggin Richardson (Rickey); five grandchildren, Blake Knowles (Elise), Spencer C.G. Johnson, Lauren Johnson, Chance Johnson, and Hayden Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Emersyn Knowles and Colt Knowles; two brothers Billy Joe Chancey (Faye) and Charles Chancey; numerous other relatives and friends. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks and gratitude to nurse Jessie Odom and the staff at Gentiva Hospice for their care, compassion, and support during her last days.
