Emery "E.T." Terrell Jackson

Emery Terrell “E.T.” Jackson – an 87 year-old native of Franklin County, Alabama and a longtime resident of Eight Mile passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after many years of service. Mr. Jackson was a devoted member of Myers Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading, especially his Bible and history.

Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Barbara Jackson. He is survived by his children, Tommy Jackson (Tonya) and Sonja Lassiter (Wendell); four grandchildren, Charlotte Holland (Travis), T.J. Jackson (Alisha), Allen Jackson, and Josh Lassiter; seven great-grandchildren, Emily, Gracie, Reid, Iain, Ayden, Carolina, and Kade; sister, Emily Jo Jackson; other relaitves and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 1, from 6-9 p.m. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
