

Frankie (Polly) Wilkerson, devoted and loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend, made her transition from life to eternity on November 21, 2025, after obtaining the age of 101.
Polly was born on October 14, 1924, in Philadelphia, Mississippi, to the late Robert Frank and Madie Kilpatrick.
She loved quilting, cooking, especially her world-famous banana pudding, and tending to her fresh vegetable garden. Her most favorite thing of all was rocking her grandchildren.
Polly is survived by one daughter; Judy Burgess, one son; Roger Paul Wilkerson (Sue), 19 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great great grandchildren, making six generations who continue her legacy, and many other family and friends that will miss her deeply.
Polly was preceded in death by her husband; Roger H. Wilkerson, her son; Dr. Fred Wilkeson, daughter; Marie Howell, and her parents; Robert and Madie Kilpatrick.
A visitation will be held from 9 to 11am on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, with the funeral beginning at 11am. A graveside service will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Saraland, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be: Gordon Wilkerson, Pete Wilkerson, Josh Wilkerson, Paul Wilkerson, Pat Wilkerson, and Alex Armstrong. Alternate pallbearers are: Henry Saulter, Charlie Saulter, and Zack Wright.
