Gail Blake

Gail Blake, a devoted wife, loving mother, and connoisseur of flip flops, passed away on June 9th, 2020 after a short illness. She was born on September 21, 1950 to Ralph and Louise Lyles of Linden, AL. Gail is survived by a husband, Steve, of 49 years and two sons; Shane (Jennifer) and Corey (Melissa). She will be remembered as "Gigi" to four precious grandchildren, whom she loved and adored very much. She also leaves behind a sister and brother-in-law, a niece, and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Gail, who had a passion for music, learned to play piano at a young age, and by high school, was playing both piano and organ for her Baptist church. She graduated from Linden High School, and obtained her degree in Psychology from Mobile College. Gail was also an avid golfer, and enjoyed cruising to exotic places with her husband Steve.

Visitation/Viewing will be from 12 - 2 at Radney's Funeral Home in Saraland, AL. There will be a short graveside service immediately following at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Celeste Road.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her honor.
