Gerald L. Cargile – a native of Birmingham, AL and a resident of Mobile, AL died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in a local hospital. Mr. Cargile worked as a truck driver for 35 years and retired from Calais School in Whippany, NJ. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie T. Cargile. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah (Daryl) Floyd; two grandsons, Matthew (Jessica) Squires and Steven (Kim) Squires; two sisters, Mae and Evelyn; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 7, 2013, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family is accepting flowers or a memorial may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
