Grady Melvin Enzor

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty Jo McBrayer Enzor, and his two daughters Lynn (Shane) May of Creola and Becky (Brad) Hardee, of Creola. Melvin is survived by three grandchildren, Austin Trawick (Heather), Abby Finney (Phillip) and Olivia Benson (Seth) and three great grandchildren, Kelsey, Luke and Tate as well as many family and friends who all loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ammie Woodyard Enzor, father, Joseph Audubon Enzor, sisters, Lillian Mann, Lucille Seymour, Marie Verhine and Helen Enzor as well as brothers Joseph Enzor, Ed Enzor, Charles Enzor and Willie Earl Enzor.

Melvin was born in Mobile on September 2, 1940. He graduated from Satsuma High School in 1960. After 32 years he retired from Kimberly Clarke Paper Company where he was loved and admired by his co-workers. He attended Saraland Church of Christ where he was actively involved and served as an Elder for many years. His first love was the lord and the next was his family. He had a love for the outdoors and being on his tractor. His hobbies included raising Quarter horses, hunting and fishing.

Melvin’s Memorial Service will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, Alabama on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation for friends from 1:00-2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Creola Cemetery in Creola, Alabama.
