Greg Kimbrell

Mr. Kimbrell was retired from SSAB. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially for crappie, playing the piano and singing gospel music, and playing baseball and softball on club teams. He especially loved going to his lake cabin and fishing and relaxing with his wife and grandchildren.

Mr. Kimbrell was preceded in death by his parents, Bill & Mildred Kimbrell, and brother-in-law, Donnie Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Braddock Kimbrell; children, Cody Thompson (Brittaney), and Katie Wheeler (Rocky); grandchildren, Olivia Baity, Wyatt Wheeler, Cayler Wheeler, Atley Thompson, and Chloe Wheeler; sister, Karen “Sister” Smith; special nephews and niece, Steven Smith (Lydia) and Amanda Kelly (Rick) Jackson and Madison; mother-in-law, Sue Braddock; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from New Life Traditional Baptist Church on McCrary Road on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
