Harold Dennis Greer

Harold was born in Mobile to Earl Boyce and Mae Bell Greer on May 17, 1951. He married Charlotte, his beloved wife of 44 years, on May 18, 1974. He was an active member at Haven Woods Baptist Church for 35 years and, among other things, loved volunteering with the Wednesday night Kitchen Krew and singing in the choir.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mae Bell Greer, and his siblings, Charles Greer, Curtis Greer, Franklin Greer, Marie Greer O’Gwynn, Kenny Greer, and Jerry Greer.

Harold is survived by his wife, Charlotte Greer; his daughters, Heather (Jason) Atchison and Ali Greer; his grandchildren, Garrett (Maegan) Atchison, Morgan Atchison, and Mallory Atchison; his sisters, Clara Wright and Beatrice (Uless) Etheredge; and many other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 23rd at Radney’s Saraland with visitation for family at 8:30am and visitation from 9am to 11am. The service will begin at 11am with Bro. Ricky Watt of Haven Woods Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Allentown Cemetery in Semmes.

Pallbearers will be Brent Gordon, Robbie Gordon, Bryan Hart, Chase Herman, Craig Herman, and D.J. Hinson.
