

He was proceed in death by his son Tom LItton, his parents Elwood Miles LItton and Susan Elizabeth Blevins, two brothers, William & Joe LItton. Four Sisters, Bertha Trent, Betty Hamilton, Ann Baker and Mattie Pickett.
He is survived by his wife Sue LItton and his son, Ed Litton. Three grandchildren, Josh Litton, Kayla Litton of Saraland and Tyler & Emma Litton of Nashville, Tennessee. One brother Shuller LItton and two sisters, Doris Picket and Thelma Garrett all of Coburn, Virginia.
Harry entered the U.S. Navy during World War Two and served in the Asian Pacific Campaign. Following the war he remained in the Pacific region as a part of the Navy Occupation of Japan. He participated in two atomic bomb test. He served in China and the invasion of Ihchon, Korea during the Korean Conflict. Later in his career he served in the Mediterranean Sea assigned to the Seventh Fleet. In 1962 he was a part of the blockade of Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Harry retired from the Navy in 1967 at the rate of Chief Boatswains Mate.
Harry had a reputation as a hard drinking, hard fighting sailor. In 1965 Harry came to faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and experienced a transformation of heart and life. He loved God's word, God's church family, spending the rest of his life, telling people of God's love through Jesus Christ. He traveled the world extensively sharing the Gospel. He loved this church and was a Deacon Emeritus of the First Baptist North Mobile in Saraland. Harry was a faithful husband, married 57 years to his beloved wife, Sue and father of two sons, Tom Litton and Ed Litton. Visitation will be Monday, July 22, 2013 at First Baptist North Mobile in Saraland at 10:00 am.
