

Hazel Parker Stinson went to be with her Lord on August 22, 2017. She was a native of Butler County, Alabama and a resident of Satsuma, Alabama for 60 years. She was a member of Bayou Sara Baptist Church in Saraland, AL. Mrs. Stinson worked for Bemis Bag Mill and also as a substitute mail carrier in Satsuma. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.D. Parker and Redie Bell Parker; husband, Woodrow W. Stinson, Sr.; son, Stevie D. Stinson, brothers, Joe Parker and Adolphus Parker; sister, Lurleen Perdue. She is survived by her children, Woodrow W. Stinson, Jr. (Sandy), Wanda Threadgill (Ricky), daughter-in-law, Susan Hammett; one brother, David Parker (Francis); sister-in-law Francis Parker. Mawmaw was survived by seven precious grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; Mark Stinson (Bridgett), Chris Stinson (Jamie), Shawn Stinson (Brittany), Brandon Little (Lauren), Lana Mason (Chad), Tiffany Threadgill, Adam Threadgill (Brittney); great-grandchildren, Gracie and Caroline Stinson; Parker and Palynn Stinson, Makayla and Drew Stinson, Jay, Ryan and Landon Squires, Laken Threadgill and Jackson Little, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 26, 2017, from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Parkway Saraland, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 2:30 pm from the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery.Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL.
