Helen Neal Vigor Wright

Helen Vigor Neal Wright, age 87, born in Murphysboro, Illinois and longtime resident of Semmes, Alabama passed away at her resident on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 28, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Gulfcrest Cemetery. Pastor Stan Givens will officiate.

Mrs. Wright is preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, John David “Jack” Neal, her parents, Eugene and Aletha Vigor, grandson, David Neal Allen and great-grandson, Andrew Blake Cochran. She is survived by her three daughters, Jacquelyn Neal Cochran, Cherie Neal Allen, both of Semmes, Al and Leslie Shawn Neal Todd (Mike) of Wilmer, AL. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Steven Neal Cochran (Tonie) of Satsuma, AL, John Michael McDuffie (Rachael) of Wilmer, AL, Leslie Todd Rollins (Forrest) of Hattiesburg, MS and Neal Michael Todd of Wilmer, AL; great-grandchildren; Stephanie, Zachary, Jake and William Cochran, Collin, Mikayla and Marissa McDuffie. Her brother, William F. Vigor (Patricia) and two sisters; Jean Ezell of Foley, AL and Judith Robison of Tanner Williams also survive her. She is also preceded by husband Dick Wright and survived by his children; Sherry Gallman and Michael Wright, step-grandchildren; Jordan, Jacob, Elizabeth Wright, Kendall Wright Crane (Shawn) , Ben Gallman, Darin Gallman (Ester) and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
