Henry Grady Garner

Henry Grady Garner – 81, a native of Decatur, MS and a resident of Mobile, AL, born June 5, 1931, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013. He was a member of College Park Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him and knew him. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Emma Dean Garner, of 62 years; his daughter, Joy (Danny) Jernigan; his son, Michael Garner; sisters, Bertie Ruth Lowe and Margaret Pittman; grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Joiner and Matthew (Jaclyn) Garner; three great-grandchildren, Breleigh, Caleb, and Jacob Joiner; and a host of nieces, nephews relatives, and friends. He was employed at International Paper Company for 32 years and owned Garner Roofing Company on Moffett Rd. Mr. Garner was a Mason and member of the Howard E. Blackwell Lodge #899 in Satsuma. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. at the funeral home prior to services. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Matt Garner, David Joiner, Stoney Sheffield, Jerry Brown, Kyle Morris, and John Singletary. Honorary pallbearers will be Buck Sheffield and Ron Eltheridge.
