Henry Earl Myers

Henry Earl Myers - A native of Noxubee County, MS and a resident of Saraland for the past 46 years, died Friday, August 20, 2010, at his home. Mr. Myers was dedicated to his Lord and his church. He served in many roles at the church and spent the past 20 years teaching the Senior Adult's Sunday school class. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and friend, who will be greatly missed. He retired after 39 years of service from CSX Railroad, was an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Myers is survived by his wife of 51 years, Glenda Davis Myers; one son, Ronnie (Charlene) Myers; two daughters, Bridgette (James) Falkenberry and Bernadine (William) Browning; one sister, Edna James; seven grandchildren, Erica, Josh, Brittany, Bianca, Carley, Sundee, and Jolynn; three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Cohen and Baya; other relatives, his dear church family and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Monday, August 23, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Sunday, August 22, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bayou Sara Baptist Church Debt Retirement Fund, 12 Bayou Sara Ave., Saraland, AL 36571.
