He shared his love for sports by coaching multiple baseball and softball teams throughout the Mobile area for many years, beginning at the age of 15. Coaching is how he met his best friend of 62 years, Ed East. Frank’s sociable personality allowed him to never meet a stranger. His devotion to his career at McAbee Construction set the example for his family of what it meant to maintain a strong work ethic. The majority of his post retirement job was being a full-time PawPaw. Anyone who met him knew how strong his love was for his family.
