Houston "Ray" Roberts

Houston “Ray” Roberts – born October 21, 1936 in Bratt, FL, and resident of Saraland, AL passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 in a local hospital. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Roberts worked at International Paper Company for many years and also worked as a General Contractor. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Gail Chambers Roberts; three daughters, Connie Roberts (Mark) Davis, Sheryl Roberts (Mike) Supino, and Jan Roberts (Alex) Rudzinski; six grandchildren, Brandi Davis (Dustin) Ward, Steven (Jessica) Davis, Bella Roberts-Jolly, Lauren Supino, Zoe Roberts-Jolly, and Grayson Roberts-Jolly; one great-grandchild, Tinsley Lynn Davis; two sisters, Alberta Campbell and Ruby Joyce Wells; one brother, Charles May; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12 noon prior to services. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family the requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life North Mobile, Team Hairloft Salon Gang, 900 Western America Circle, Ste. 101, Mobile, AL 36609.
