

On Wednesday, April 15th, 2026, Jerry Michael Crownover was promoted to Heaven. Jerry was born in Fayette County Alabama and later moved to Mobile County where he gained employment with the Railroad. After the Railroad, he was employed by Scott Paper Company, where he worked for 38 years until retirement.
Upon moving to Mobile, Jerry met the love of his life, Mary Alice Pope. They were married in 1962 and celebrated sixty-three years and eleven months of marriage. Jerry and Mary celebrated life with three children, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Jerry passed peacefully with his family members, staff from the Crowne North Baldwin Nursing Home, and Southern Care Hospice by his side.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Vinette Michael Crownover; mother, Trannie Kimbrell Crownover; and one brother, Ronald Henry Crownover.
Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife, Mary Pope Crownover; sons, Michael Pope Crownover (Dena) and Mitchell Lindy Crownover (Angie); daughter, Lisa Crownover Hacker (Mel); grandsons, Jonathan Crownover, Ross Crownover (Loryn), Joshua Crownover (Angelina), and Caleb Hacker (Briana); granddaughters, Caitlin Crownover Knight (Jacob) and Charity Hacker; great-grandson, Elijah; great-granddaughters, Victoria, Charlotte, Oaklei, Lakelei, and Henslei; as well as other cherished family and friends.
Visitation for Jerry will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, Alabama, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery on Celeste Road.
