Jerry Daniel Todd, age 86, of Daphne, Alabama passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021. Jerry was born August 29, 1935 in Stonewall, Mississippi. Jerry was a devoted husband and father. He loved traveling, RV camping and motorcycles. Jerry had a passion for motorcycles and had a motorcycle from 25 years old until he could no longer ride one. He enjoyed traveling in his RV all over the United States, Mexico and Canada, oftentimes pulling a motorcycle along for the trip. After high school, he joined the Armed Forces and served overseas for two years in Paris, France. Upon returning, he joined the Prichard Police Department where he served 22 years and eventually retired as a sergeant. He started his own business, Todd Pavement Marking, Inc. in 1963 and operated it successfully for nearly 40 years. In addition, he and his wife owned and operated Dreamland Skate Center in Tillman's Corner, Alabama. Jerry lived most of life in Saraland, Alabama where he still owns several commercial rental properties and he always enjoyed going there to visit his tenants and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents: Paul B. Todd, Della Robinson Todd, one daughter; LeAnn Todd Bryan, one sister; Mildred Todd Jackson, two brothers: William Todd, and Jimmy Todd.
Left to cherish Jerry's wonderful memories will be his beloved wife of 64 years; Betty Rambo Todd, one daughter; Danielle Todd Constant and husband Rickie, one son; Darin Daniel Todd and wife Zoe, two sisters: Sandra Todd Pipkin and husband Bill, Jackie Todd McBrayer and husband Mack, eight grandchildren: Brittney Bryan-Fiamengo and wife Nicole, Cecil Blake Bryan, Matthew William Bryan, Harris Charles Constant, Rickie Lee Constant, Francis Daniel Constant, Cameron Daniel Todd, Amelia Corinne Todd, two great-grandchildren: Nicholas Bryan-Fiamengo, Daniel Bryan-Fiamengo, along with extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
A visitation for Jerry will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Fountain of Life, 1277 Jubilee Drive, Saraland, Alabama 36571, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Saraland, Alabama.
