Joe Ellis McFall

Joe Ellis McFall, age 78, went to be with our Lord on July 24, 2014, after battling numerous health issues, with his family at his side. He was born October 5, 1935 in Florence, AL and was a resident of Eight Mile, AL, where he lived much of his life. He proudly served his country during the Korean War from 1954 - 1956. He retired from Scott Paper Mill in 1994 after 37 years of employment. Mr. McFall was a member of the Wilmer Baptist Church in Wilmer, AL.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Janice Carolyn Robinson McFall; son, Joel Keith McFall (Eloisa Henry); daughter, Susan Yolande McLeod (Kenneth); four grandchildren, Joshua McFall, Connor McLeod, Lindsey McFall and MacKenzie McLeod; one brother, Elmer McFall (Sandra); and numerous extended family members and friends. The family would like to offer special thanks for the care given to Mr. McFall to Dr. Michael Damrich, Dr. Michael Meshad and Dr. Maher Sahawneh.

Visitation will be held at Wilmer Baptist Church, 13371 Moffett Rd., Wilmer, AL on Monday July 28, 2014, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral will be held from the church on Tuesday, July 29, at 10 a.m. with interment to follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens in Eight Mile, AL.
