John Dorough

John William "Bill" Dorough Jr., age 77, of Semmes, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Bill was born June 8, 1943 in Mobile, Alabama. Bill served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He was an Ironworker for 40 years with Local 798 and Brim Construction. After retiring, Bill became a hotshot driver. Bill and Brenda traveled many places across the country. Bill loved his family, vintage

cars and country music.

He is missed already by his family. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, John William Dorough,

Sr. and Mary Ruth Dorough, son, Ronald David Dorough, grandson, John William Dorough IV, sister, Virginia Ann Neidhardt. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Brenda Gayle Dorough.

Children, Krisandra (Keith) Parmer, Stephanie (Wayne) Williams, John (Lorri) Dorough III, Grandchildren, Will (Dakota), Jacob, Noah Parmer, AJ and Abi Pearl Williams, Kelsey (Jared) Flach, Gabe and Cameryn Dorough, Savannah Whidden, Ethan and LeighAnn Denmark. Siblings Jean Bryant, Tom (Darlene) Dorough, Judy (Junior) Uptain, Ken (Julia) Dorough, Jason Dorough. Great grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Liam, Benjamin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021, from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland at 2 p.m. Viewing will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Vahalla Memorial Gardens.
