John B. Lynd, Sr. – a 79 year-old native of Mobile and longtime resident of Creola passed away at his home on Monday, December 19, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Juanita Lynd; children, Elizabeth Lynd Ward, John B. Lynd, Jr. (Cindy), and Teresa Lynd McAfee (Scott); 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
