Karen Lynn Fortenberry

Karen Lynn Stewart Fortenberry was a resident of Saraland, Alabama. She was born on January 22, 1961, in Hammond, Indiana. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 7, 2026, at the age of 65.

Karen loved the Lord with all her heart and enjoyed singing to him. She had a true servants heart as she would step in when someone was in need and she had the ability to help. Her greatest joy was her family. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. Karen leaves behind a legacy of faith and love. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.

Karen is preceded in death by her mother Kay Thomley Stewart and her brother Kevin Lewis Stewart.

Karen is survived by her father Ransom Kenneth Stewart, and her sister Kelly Stewart (Mark)Patrick, her daughters Ashley Estrada and Emily Standorf Smith, her son Jacob (Allie) Standord and a Bonus son, Derek Trent, her grandchildren Jordan (Sarah) Barron, Matteo Estrada, Sofia Estrada and Lendon Smith. Great grandchildren, Benjamin, Laken and Violet.

A celebration of life visitation will be held Friday, February 13, 2026 from 10am to 10: 30 am at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, Alabama 36571 followed by the Memorial Service beginning at 10:30am, officiated by Sandra Boutwell.
