Khan Xay Sayasane, age 54, of Satsuma, AL passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2019. Khan was born on June 1, 1965 in his native country of Laos. He was best known for his outgoing and fun personality. Everyone that knew him loved him dearly and he always knew how to make everyone smile. Khan loved his daughters more than anything else in the world. Everyone that knew him knew how proud he was of each of them. In addition, he loved his entire family. He always made it a point to be there for them and go to all events he could attend. He also loved the beach and drove there every chance he got. He worked for the Chickasaw Housing Authority for 38 years and had just recently retired at the end of May from his job as Assistant Maintenance Supervisor. He will be dearly missed by every person that had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his three daughters Chelsey Sayasane, Allie Sayasane, and Kaylie Sayasane; his father Somphet Sayasan; his siblings: Khan Kham “Khannie” Sayasane, Khan Nguen Sayasane, Phonesavanh “Phon” Berry , Phousavanh “Pete” Sayasane, Ketsavanh “Kay” Prine, Touka Partouche, and Phouvanh “Phou” Lane; his in-laws Paul Prine, Wesley Berry, and Grant Lane; his nieces and nephews Matthew Prine, Kayla (Nick) Downey, Jenna (Chase) Patterson, Teah Berry, Dray Thompson, Ashlyn Lane, Tyler Berry, Deavin Sayasane, Emily Prine, Mia Lane, Caleb Prine, Calvin Partouche, Lana Partouche, Terrence Partouche; great-nieces and nephews Nolan Patterson, Ava Kate Downey, Brantley Thompson, Maliah Prine, Stryker Patterson, and Cambrey Downey.
Khan Xay was preceded in death by; mother OneKeo Sayasan; sister KhanTong Sayasan, great-nieces Aubrey Kate Downey and Hadley Kate Downey.
A visitation for Khan Xay will be held Friday, July 5, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Destination Church, 1601 Celeste Rd, Saraland, Alabama 36571, followed by a celebration of life at 6:00 p.m.
