Lonzo Charles Tunnell

Lonzo C. Tunnell, age 87 of Fairhope, Alabama passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Lee Tunnell, parents James and Velma Tunnell, sister Betty Strickland and brother-in-law Del Read.

L.C. was employed and later retired as an electrician with Scott Paper(Kimberly Clark). He was raised Southern Baptist and his life was a testament to his faith. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his brother Bill Tunnell (Linda), sister Gayle Read. His loving daughters, Lisa Andrews (Phillip) and Renee Banser (Leon) and grandchildren Tyler and Riley Banser, Kathy Hinesley, Ethan Andrews, Sarah Cowdin and Daniel Andrews also survived him.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland, 1200 Industrial Blvd., Saraland, AL will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025 beginning at 9:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Saraland, AL.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Tunnell, Jason Read, Alan Read, Harold Parker, Jeffrey Peden and Brett Bishop.
